The single arm is more compact than the dual arm featuring 2 rotational joints, referred to as the shoulder and wrist.
It is simple to move and has 576 possible lock positions.

7.5 - 10.5 inches from shoulder to wrist joint
Tilt from 0° to 110°
User Controls:
Easy-access, one-handed operation
Hoop unlocks shoulder only
Paddle unlocks wrist
Tilt lock lever
Effort to unlock and move:
<1.5 pound force to unlock. Force to move varies with device weight.
Force to adjust tilt depends on torque hinge selected.
Reach required to reposition:
Requires more reach to move out of the way.
Device can be lower than dual; less distance from bottom of arm to top of device
Less placement versatility than dual; fewer locking and operating positions.
