All ViewPlus printers/embossers print high resolution tactile graphics.
Embraille and Columbia are desktop embossers, braille only. Embraille prints with 25 cps, Columbia with 100 cps. Columbia is double sided in one pass. Both units are tractor fed paper embossers and have 100 dpi tactile image resolution.
SpotDot – 20 dpi resolution tactile graphics – full color ink and braille. 50 cps. Cut sheet paper only.
Cub/Max – braille embossers, 20 dpi resolution tactile graphics embossers. 50 and 60 cps. Tractor fed paper embossers. Prints double sided in two pass (print odd pages, turn paper, print even pages).
Premier and Elite are 100 and 200 cps embossers. 20 dpi resolution tactile graphics. Tractor fed. An Ink attachment can be purchased in addition to print gray scale/black ink together with the braille and tactile graphics.
Our embossers are true Windows printers so what you see is what you get. Color on the screen is interpreted into 7 variable dot heights. Braille can be printed in high/normal/low.
All of our embossers print braille as well as the tactile graphics. TSS 6.0 translation software is included with the purchase of 1 embosser or more.
