The footrest is placed on, not screwed onto, its polished aluminum frame so that the surface of the footrest can move with you throughout the day. It slides easily across the frame so you can change the angle of your feet as many times as you like. This helps keep your legs in motion even when you sit for long periods, and makes it easy to find a comfortable position.

In addition to keeping your legs comfortable, lifting your feet even slightly helps tip your pelvis backward so you sit further back in your seat where you can feel the full effect of your chair’s lumbar support.
