According to several medical studies, spending the majority of the day in a sitting posture can adversely affect health in a variety of ways. Sit-stand ergonomic products are designed to allow workers to alternate between sitting and standing at their desks throughout the day. The IS-SS Cobra sit-to-stand articulating keyboard platform and spring-assisted mechanism form a combination that is practically impossible to beat in performance, cost and durability.
From a track height of 27.5" (corresponding to a 28.5" tall work surface), the arm raises 7.5" to accommodate most standing workers up to 5’ 6”. The tray height is adjusted effortlessly using the intuitive lift-and-release mechanism to position it anywhere within the vertical range of 13.25" without the need for knob activation. The workstation arm rotates 360 degrees at the base, where the mechanism meets the track. The arm is compatible with a large variety of different trays that include options such as keyboard and mouse gel palm rests.
Offers a keyboard tray tilt adjustment from -20° to +10°. Some ergonomic guidelines suggest that positive tilt may be detrimental to wrist comfort and safety. The "positive tilt lockout" selection restricts the motion to the negative range.
This adjustable keyboard tray system offers, as standard, the ability to rotate the mechanism a full 360° where the arm meets the track. Select the "front swivel" option if you would like to add the ability to rotate the keyboard tray 360° on the arm mechanism.

The IS-SS platform has a total tilt range of 30 degrees, 20 degrees negative and 10 degrees positive. The positive tilt can be removed with the positive tilt lock-out option.
If there are no obstructions to inhibit movement, the arm can rotate a full 360 degrees where the arm meets the track. This illustration shows the Slim Natural type keyboard in various positions.
Can you explain what "positive tilt lockout" is? I see that is restricts the tilt range to -20 to horizontal. But I'm not sure which direction is positive and which is negative.
Positive tilt is when the back side of the tray is higher than the front edge. We offer the positive tilt lockout for those who do not want to utilize positive tilt.
What happens if the lever breaks? Can it be replaced?
In the unlikely event that the lever breaks, the component will be replaced free of charge during the 5 year warranty period. To date we have had no experience with breakage of this type with this USA-manufactured product.
Can I order a gel wrist pad for the SlimNatural 19 Keyboard Tray?
This particular keyboard tray does not have a wrist or palm pad. This platform is made for specific keyboards that generally fit over the entire tray, specifically the Microsoft Natural, Natural Elite, and Natural Pro keyboards. At the time of the writing of this response, 3M was manufacturing a retrofit palm rest solution called the MMMWR314LE that could serve as a solution.
Option: Positive Tilt Lockout: Some ergonomic guidelines suggest that positive tilt may be detrimental to wrist comfort and safety. The "possitive tile lockout" selection restricts teh tilt rance to -20 degrees from the horizontal position.
