Mini Step Swivel Elliptical Trainer

The Mini cardio stepper operates on two Hydraulic cylinders that create a stepping motion. Less jarring on the body than treadmills. Improve circulation at the office during your break or use while watching TV at home or office. And the counter won’t be hard to see or miss steps. Having this extra feature provides the opportunity to get a lot more leg and thigh muscles in shape, particularly the outer and inner thighs. The twist stepper machine has the same sturdy base as an ordinary mini stepper and as you’d expect, two foot pedals that twist slightly.

Heavy duty steel construction and low-impact aerobic work out.
Oversize slip-resistant footplates.
Electronic monitor tracks strides, exercise time, and calories.
Heavy duty steel with oversize slip-resistant footplates.

Very pleased with this bike. Took my husband 30 min to put together. Good quality for the price. I noticed some reviews about needing a mat but I used it on carpet no problem

very simple bike. Seems decently constructed though.

It took a couple hours for me and my daughter to put together but the instructions were clear and the bike works great. One of my neighbors has already bought the same bike after trying mine out and she loves it too.

It went together very easily, however the box it came in looked like it was run over with a truck. There was a fist sized hole in the side of the box, and the foam cover for the seat handle has a 5 inch gash. I’m not even sure how to go about getting a replacement part for it. Part of the internal packaging was wedged on so tightly, that I had to take a Dremel tool to it, to cut it off. The pole in the front of the bike, that the computer, and the manual tensioner fit into took me a half an hour to get free, because the heavy duty packaging was jammed on so hard and far that it bent the plastic housing on the wheel housing. I’m hoping that the bike continues to work well, considering the packagings very rough condition when it was delivered.

The bike is great. Very comfortable and easy to use. The only problem is, the data on the display won’t reset. There are no info in the instructions on using the display.

I love this. It’s very quite, sturdy and it gives me a workout that I was looking for. I would buy this again!!

DezzMAt – 03/28/2017:
After decades of fluctuating between “skinny years” and “fat years,” a serious bike accident in 2003 left me almost immobile with daily chronic, severe pain, limited mobility and energy – and tipping the scales at 310 lbs. I spent 5 years experimenting with different at-home exercise gadgets in search of something that I could do comfortably within my mobility and energy limitations and still burn up enough extra calories to make the scale move. Balancing ergonomics with while-you-type exercise gadgets proved challenging because of the clearance required to accommodate the circumference of most pedaling/stepping devices. The lower pedaling circumference of the Stamina portable elliptical machine allowed me to have the best of both worlds.

Kaitien – 03/30/2017:
I put it under my desk and pedaled while I worked, at a medium tension, mostly at a 5-7mph rate, off and on throughout the day (not constantly, just whenever I thought about it). I also watched TV while at my desk, so during those times when I would be watching a show or a movie and not needing to focus on work, I would increase the tension a bit and pedal faster,

Needless to say, with my 165-pound weight loss, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this machine, but as others have pointed out, it’s not perfect, and there is certainly room for improvement in a future model. Grab a cuppa while you read about my pedaling adventures …

I love this elliptical! It isn’t exactly “portable”, but I was able to carry it to work on public transportation without killing myself. Set up took about 15 minutes and didn’t require tools or more skill than Ikea furniture.

-Edit: I did experience some squeaking that was annoying enough that I stopped using the elliptical for a while. Eventually I missed it though and I pretty much WD-40’d the entire thing. Not sure what was causing the squeak, but it just needed a little grease and it’s working great again!

At first I was only doing 10-15 miles a day before getting tired, or I would find it distracting as my heart rate got up, but now I have the resistance at 75% and I can use it for 4-5 hours a day, logging up to 50 miles on average. I have found a sweet-spot where I can peddle non-stop and I always feel riiiiight on the verge of breaking a serious sweat, so I take a 30 second break every 10-15 minutes just to keep from ruining my make-up.

I’ve lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks while using this at my desk without other dietary changes. In fact, I’ve been skipping out on running after work now and then because my legs are sometimes SO tired from stepping all day.

The only things I would caution someone considering buying this are 1, if you are using it under your desk, it feels more like a bike than an elliptical and if you have bad knees (like I do) you might feel pressure if you don’t have it perfectly aligned with your chair- turning to face a computer screen or talk to someone can turn your knees at a weird angle; 2, the calorie count is complete nonsense- don’t rely on it at all, I’ve found deskcycle .com has a more accurate calorie count based on other data this machine gives you; 3, sometimes the little step counter keeps running for several minutes after I have stopped moving. I’m not sure if it takes a few minutes to catch up on all the steps I’ve done (this seems unlikely), or if mine is just a little messed up, but usually if I get up from my desk when it says, say, 3 miles, when I come back a few minutes later it might say 3.5 miles, so you need to keep an eye on that too if you are trying to track progress.

None of these are serious drawbacks though, and I would absolutely buy this product again.

I love this elliptical! It isn’t exactly “portable”, but I was able to carry it to work on public transportation without killing myself. Set up took about 15 minutes and didn’t require tools or more skill than Ikea furniture. It’s completely silent and I have had people standing at my desk talking to me who had no idea I was even using it. I always tell them about it though and now several other people in my office have bought one.

As others have pointed out, though, as WONDERFUL as it is for my purposes, it is not a perfect machine. I have had a GREAT experience with both of mine, with no problems whatsoever (I eventually got a second one to use elsewhere in the house,

I do not recommend this bike…it is very uncomfortable to sit on and it has no resistance even on number 10.

I like this bike as much as I like any exercise equipment, lol. It seems well made and is quite enough for me to read or watch a show while working out.

I have found that this was exactly what I was looking for. I’m a 72 year old woman and I was able to get it upstairs and put together by myself. It was well packed and the instructions were clear and it included a couple of wrenches for ease in tightening bolts. One warning – DO NOT remove the rubber band that holds the wiring for the computer part that is at the end of the tube until you are ready to hook it up. If you do, the wire will fall down in the tube! I managed to retrieve it with a long crochet hook! The only problem I encountered.

As for its functioning – it’s completely quiet, smooth and easy to move around. You can ride it sitting back or lean forward, grab the handlebars like a regular bike. I do both. I do recommend this bike for anyone who wants to exercize in the privacy of your own home. I did 10 miles on my first session!

I was happy with this bike for about a year. Then the pedal got stripped. I put in a request for help. They wrote back promptly a few times then ignored me and the issue. Bike is pretty worthless when pedal falls off after a few rotation.

Quick, easy setup (it recommends two people, but one person can handle it easily, if they can manipulate ~50 lbs). Amazingly comfortable (I now have it set up in front of the TV: peddling through an episode or two of something on TV makes the time fly).
