Sorry 30-pin not available anymore

Two-switches and a switch interface – all in one! The Tapio/Orby Bundle – Dual Switch combines two Orby Switches and new Tapio Switch Interface for iOS Devices all in a single solution. Two-switch access for scanning has never been more convenient. (Please choose your desired colors below this product description.)

This Tapio bundle includes an Apple 30-pin Dock to USB Camera Adapter and a USB Extender Cable (2nd and 3rd Generation iPad).

Orby is a colorful button-style adaptive switch featuring a smooth contoured design that is 2.5-inches in diameter and less than one-inch tall. Users will enjoy the soft and quiet operation with pleasing audible feedback of switch actuation when pressed anywhere on the top surface.

Tapio™ is a compact adaptive switch interface. It is a native USB device that can be connected to an Apple iOS device using an Apple Camera Interface Adapter. It accepts industry standard 3.5 mm stereo or mono plugs and directly interfaces up to two adaptive switches to an Apple iOS Device or computer. Tapio is powered from the device and does not require external power. Tapio uses standard USB Human Interface Device (HID) drivers and works with iOS Devices, Windows, Macintosh and Linux computers, and many Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices.

A note about Compatibility:

Apple iOS Devices have worked with direct connect USB keyboards since the early days of iPhone. However, Apple only officially supports Bluetooth keyboards. For this reason whenever you plug a USB keyboard into an iOS Device, or turn on an iOS Device with USB keyboard connected you will receive a notification or message telling you that it is not supported.

Since Tapio presents itself as a USB keyboard, you will see this message. Simply tap OK directly or scan to and "tap" OK to dismiss the dialog box.

Key benefits of direct connect verses Bluetooth:

Lightening fast switch interface for high performance scanners
Robust, simple and reliable
No messy Bluetooth pairing procedures
No Bluetooth dropouts
No ghost Bluetooth pairings
No batteries to charge or change
